Case studies

Operations running on Geodot

A bottler, a fishing fleet and Grupo Camili's bonded warehouse at AIFA run on Geodot in production. Each case states whether it is production, demo or scenario.

Curtain-side truck loaded with returnable glass bottle crates in a bottler's yard at dawn; the driver, seen from behind, closes the curtain.

Two cases in detail

Each story covers the context, the problem, what was deployed, how, and the numbers it left. We mark what is a measured result and what is a capability shown in a demo.

What runs in production and what was shown in a demo

Beverages and distribution (in production)
The challenge
The bottler had 100 trucks under contract for a volume that called for 150, and 50 went out on a second run. Routes were planned by hand every morning and the required load margin limited capacity.
What Geodot does
Geodot calculates palletizing and routing in the same step, so the route is built knowing what fits in each truck. Returnable glass customers are spread across trucks while respecting the margin.
The result
The returnable glass rule added 10% capacity and cut 4 to 5 trucks a day.
Cold chain and traceability (demo)
The challenge
Product close to expiry in hard-to-reach locations, and full-truck rejections when a customer requires a minimum shelf life. Answering a traceability claim took days.
What Geodot does
Geodot applies FEFO at scan time: if the operator picks a pallet while older ones sit in another location, the system flags it. The customer's shelf-life rule applies to the whole trip.
What was shown
The older-pallet alert at scan time, the shelf-life rule applied to the full trip and lot-level traceability. Shown with test data.
Bonded warehouse at AIFA (in production)
The challenge
Grupo Camili runs a 7,000 m² bonded warehouse at AIFA, with zones for dangerous goods, refrigerated and general cargo, each with its own storage rules.
What Geodot does
iWMS controls the zone, location and movement of every package. Zero Label identifies goods at receiving so the data travels with the pallet without reprinting labels.
The result
Inventory by zone and location in one system, with every movement logged for review. Separately, in a release trial with an air cargo operator at AIFA, 100% of pieces were scanned with evidence.

Let's review one day of your operation

In the demo we work with your orders, your fleet and your loading rules, and estimate how much capacity is left on the table.
