Food & Dairy

Geodot connects plant, warehouse, routing and cold chain. Product ships by expiry date, each customer has its own shelf-life rule, and temperature is logged throughout transport.

An operator, seen from behind, scans a pallet lot label in a refrigerated dairy warehouse aisle.

Expiry, cold chain and lot traceability

  • Temperature is controlled in the warehouse, but in transport there is no log or alert, and the rejection comes at delivery.
  • If the warehouse does not pick by expiry date, older pallets end up behind newer ones and expire.
  • Large retail chains require a minimum shelf life per delivery and reject the whole truck if one product falls short.
  • In a product recall, you need to know which customers received each lot.

Customer shelf-life rules, checked against your catalog

In the meeting we review your shelf-life rules by customer and show how they are applied at scanning and loading.
