FAQ
What operations, IT and finance teams ask
Platform, implementation, integration and commercial terms, answered directly.

Platform
What does the platform include?
Eleven modules in three groups. Core: iWMS, iTMS, iRouter, Smart Palletizing and Control Tower. Specialized: Cold Chain, Document Hub and Zero Label. Operational: GPS & Fleet Control, Companion and Plant Sync + Gate Scheduling. You contract the modules the operation needs and add the rest in phases.
How much does truck loading improve?
It depends on the operation. Palletizing and routing are calculated together, so the system knows what fits in each truck before the route is assigned. At a bottler in production, average load went from 85% to 99% and transport cost fell 8%.
Our operation is very specific. Will you understand it?
Geodot is configured by SKU, by customer and by operating rule: returnables, FEFO, shelf life per customer, cold chain and bonded warehouses. The rules are gathered in the first weeks of the project and validated with your team.
Do I need to change my hardware?
No. Geodot works with standard Android devices, Zebra scanners and any GPS provider. No new equipment is needed to get started.
What availability does the platform offer?
Geodot is deployed in the cloud managed by Geodot or on the customer's servers. Committed availability is set in writing in each contract's service level agreement (SLA).
Implementation
How long does implementation take?
The first operation goes live in about 90 days. Phases and scope per module are agreed in the project plan and detailed on the implementation page.
Do I have to replace my ERP?
No. Your ERP remains the system of record. Geodot integrates via API with SAP Business One, BASIS and Oracle, and adds the detail the ERP usually does not manage: pack, pallet, location and palletizing.
What happens to the knowledge in the expert's head?
It is documented and configured in the system. Palletizing and operating rules are recorded per SKU, so building a load no longer depends on one person.
What does the support during implementation look like?
Every implementation has an assigned team, owners on both sides and a steering committee. The team is made up of logistics specialists and works from Mexico and Argentina.
Integration
Which systems does it integrate with?
SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM/EWM, Oracle, Oracle OTM and BASIS (Release 53) via API, plus in-house SQL databases, refrigeration telemetry, billing systems and TXT files.
Connecting to BASIS or SAP is usually complex. How do you handle it?
With our own RESTful APIs. The BASIS Release 53 integration is in production and covers returnables and load margin rules.
Does it replace SAP TM or EWM?
No. SAP remains your system of record. Geodot adds the logistics execution layer, with routing and palletizing calculated together.
Do you handle cold chain telemetry?
Yes. Geodot integrates temperature sensors with continuous logging and alerts when a reading goes out of range. Chilled and dry product can have different appointments and rules.
Commercial
What is the pricing model?
The licensing model is delivered in writing along with the information for your committee. The quote is prepared after the demo.
What return can I expect?
We estimate it with your data in the demo. The ROI calculator separates what was measured in production from what is assumed.
Do you offer support in Spanish?
Yes. The team is in Mexico and Argentina, and support is provided in Spanish.
What size of operation is it built for?
Mid-size and large operations with heavy physical logistics, from dozens to hundreds of trucks and hundreds of SKUs. For fleets of 1 to 5 vehicles without an IT team, Geodot is probably not the right fit.
We cover the rest in the demo
A 30-minute demo that starts from your operation: orders, fleet and systems.
